Iiyama’s annual winter event, the Iiyama Snow Festival, will be held on 7(Sat) and 8(Sun) February 2026.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

The entire city centre will be filled with many snow sculptures made by citizens. From large, powerful snow sculptures to small snow sculptures of popular characters and other characters, at night the snow sculptures change from the daytime and create a fantastic atmosphere, making it truly a snow art.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
