In Iiyama City, many villages hold autumn festivals starting in September.
During these festivals, people celebrate and pray for a bountiful harvest and good health. They welcome the gods to their villages, offer their gratitude, and entertain them with dances and other performances.
*As these are important events for the local community, we ask that you be considerate and avoid disrupting the proceedings when observing or taking photos.
