Keisoji Temple

According to myth, Iiyama lord Sakuma Yasutsugu's uncle was provided with land and funds to construct the temple, which he named Keisoji.Keisoji Temple was moved to its current location in 1638, when Matsudaira Tadatomo became lord of Iiyama Castle. After burning down during a military conflict in 1868, the main hall was rebuilt in December 1883.
